Gus Bradley becomes Raiders new defensive coordinator.

It’s no secret that defense was one of the biggest problems facing the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020, forcing them to eventually fire defensive coordinator Paul Guenther and put Rob Marinelli in on an interim basis. Now, however, the Raiders have tapped Gus Bradley to become their new defense coordinator.

Bradley has experience as former head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars and as a defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams. It might take an adjustment period for Bradley to get the hang of things, but this team could go far if they manage to avoid too many injuries next year.

"The style that you should see is a team that plays with heroic effort, great enthusiasm, great toughness and a defense that plays smart," Bradley said when asked about what he is looking for in his new defense. "That is our key. That's the style. Now, if you just said, 'Hey, what is our nonnegotiable?' That is fast, physical and we've got to find a way to get the ball."
